KFA Statement Regarding the Postponement of the Mousehole AFC trials match

Following the postponement of today’s fixture against Mousehole AFC (July 28), Kernow Football Alliance Director of Football Andrew Bragg has made the following statement:

“We apologise to all our supporters and especially Mousehole AFC but we have had to cancel our prestigious friendly against Mousehole this afternoon due to injuries, work commitments and holidays.

We knew this was a big ask of everyone during a hectic pre-season and would like to thank the players that made themselves available – nearly all of whom played 90 minutes yesterday.

We hope going forward that we can carry on and take Cornwall to its first ever World Cup.

Thank you to Mousehole AFC for being so understanding and hopefully it’ll be a fixture we can complete in the future. We wish them all the success for the forthcoming season.”

The next Kernow fixture is scheduled for Sunday, August 25 when the Chagos Islands will be the visitors to Bodmin Town FC’s Priory Park.
